A quick wrap up of my first art show

Wrap-up May 7th 2005
Opening night was fantastic! We had a great turn out with a steady flow of people all night, and everyone I spoke with praised my work. I probably did more talking in that 3 hour period than I usually do in a week, but the time flew by. Ironically it would seem that having my show, so close to the date of the DVAC auction seems to have been a double edged sword. While I can say that the donation I made built buzz around my name, and helped bring attention to my show, the fact that it fell so close to last weeks auction undoubtedly cost us good press (that may have brought in people that didn’t make the auction) So while I feel my show was probably eclipsed a little bit by DVAC, its hard to say if it helped or hurt our cause.

There are entirely too many people to thank for making this happen, so rather than try to mention names, I’ll just give my heart felt thanks to all who contributed-you know who you are ^^

If you couldn’t make the May 6th opening, don’t fret. My show will run through the entire month of May, so you have plenty of time to get out and see what we put together.
