I'm Going to Have to Prove I can Throw a 75 lb Monitor 14 Feet ^^

75 pounds and 14 feet October 18th 2006

I brought back a bunch of styrofoam Jack in the Box antenna heads as presents for all of my friends, from my trip to California in September. Anyway, they've become a favorite thing to throw at people around the office when someone says something stupid. Today a buddy said I throw like a girl, so I told him maybe I need to find something heavier to throw at him, to help give him some perspective on my technique. Something like my 21 inch monitor. LOL Well, we got into this huge debate about whether its possible for me to throw a monitor 14 feet. Keep in mind this isn't a flat panel, this is like a 75 lb CRT. So he's going to contact a friend of his who owns a computer store and get a broken monitor to put this to the test. We're going to go out in the parking lot, and let me get a running start, and we'll measure it off and see who's right. I was thinking, if I could get a lifesize card board cutout of the guy, it might give some more incentive to really chuck that monitor hard. I'll keep you posted ^^ LOL.
