Favicon June 5th 2005
To my horror last week I discovered
how utterly crappy my favicon looked in Safari. (for some reason portions
of it that appear transparent in other browsers, are not in Safari) I made
some minor tweaks to the favicon today. So while I was retooling it anyways,
I simplified it some more. I took out the inner circle of dark orange, and
made the entire sun glyph 1 color, I also added an opaque white box behind
it, and gave it an orange border. I think its more effective this way. Unfortunately
to see the updated icon you'll need to clear your temp files. To do this for
Safari go to Macintosh HD: Users: your account: Library: Safari
and delete the Icons folder.
